Participate
First Nations people and organizations come together through the Atlantic First Nations Environmental Network to share information and knowledge that can help us help our environments. Without the participation of interested community members and First Nations organizations in the Atlantic region, there is no network. Therefore, we encourage you to get involved by attending one of our events or by sharing your questions, comments, or ideas.
Events
The Network has been involved in the organization of two conferences since its inception.
- “Protecting Environments, Connecting Communities”
March 22nd and 23rd 2004
Moncton, New Brunswick
- “Wabanaki Traditional Knowledge Conference 2005”
Moncton, New Brunswick

Comments and Questions
If you have any comments, questions, or ideas related to something you’ve read on this site, or something you would like to read on this site you can contact us, or you can post your ideas on the comment board. For example, are you wondering what the difference is between an environmental assessment and an environmental site assessment? Do you have some experiences you’d like to share related to the remediation of a contaminated site? Do you think we should be doing more to protect the Nova Scotia mainland Moose? Why not post your comments and see if anybody strikes up a discussion with you? Please note that all messages are reviewed before going live.
