Our Environment
Our community and traditional environments are extremely important to our way of life. At the first conference of the AFNEN Network many environmental issues were identified as being of great importance to Network members. These included issues at both the community and the global level, like water quality, contaminated sites, and climate change.
The Network website currently includes information and resources on some environmental issues of importance to Atlantic First Nations. Over time, we hope that the information contained on this site will grow. If there is an environmental issue or area that you would like to see addressed on this website, please feel free to contact us with your ideas or comments.
